Brightness

Last week I met a friend for breakfast and it suddenly dawned on me that it has been months since I had carried an umbrella or rain gear just in case the heavens opened. I rmember attending a hens afternoon tea over fifteen years ago and we had had a week of no rain and it was one of the topics discussed that afternoon. The tea was held out doors which in itself was a rarity.

Definitley the weather has changed in Ireland. It’s time for the small basins in the various sinks to gather the water for watering the plants and for putting back water into the soil which is parched. No potaotes planted this year as I totally forgot about them Perhaps it is not too late to get some vegetables planted for later in the year. I must investigate. It must be vegetable which can go in pots. Arthritas does not lend itself to low planting.

Hoefully tomorrow will be abother bright day and I will enjoy the first cuppa looking up at a lue sky.
