Laoise

12th October is Internatonal Arthritis Day. Now just to be clear Arthritis is not an old person’s disease unfotunately children and teens can suffer from it.

Arthritis has been part of my life for many years even though it was officially diagnosed in latter years. As it is and has been part of my life I have decided to give it a proper name.

Laoise is now part of the family and hopefully will live up to the name of light and brightness. It was time for this incommer to be formally welcomed.

Perhaps I am a bit mad puttig a nmae to a disease which causes inflamation, stiffness and pain in the joints but it felt right for me. So Laoise and I will become

bonded and we will start to co habit with respect…… or so I hope.
