Block

I had plans of what I would make for a special occassion, an applque table runner. I received great advice on how to make it.

Four weeks later it was still sitting on the craft table. Fabric still uncut. The design was lovley however, the panel I received was cut etremely badly which added to the problem and it was only through the experience of some brilliant quilters that the idea of cutting and appliqueing the pieces to make a runner came about.

Why wasn’t I then making the table runner? I haven’t a clue but last night I decided on a totally different project and I am happy out. When it comes to quilting I have found my own way of making a quilt top which does not follow any of the rules. I call it random patchwork so no blocks, no fabric on point just random.

A totally different project for that special occassion.
