Paper

I love paper and card. For years I was a paper crafter and it brought me so much joy. I especially enjoyed manipulating cards into various folds. However, paper doesn’t like me. Like so many others paer can dry one’s hands. Paper though goes a little further with me in no liking me.

My hands swell form the paper and card dust. Cardboard boxes are a nightmare. I had hoped that with some new medication that perhaps I might be able to find my way back to papercrafting but I have learnt that paper still doesn’t like me.

After emptying a box or two of household items back form storage my eyes and hands are telling me to stop. So the majority of work has landed on my long suffering wonderful husband. And I will have to rely on my paper crafting buddy to supply my special Christmas cards yet again.

Psorisis is a tricky partner and just when you think it is under control it jumps up to remind me that it is still very much here to stay.

Back to to sorting out my stash of fabric and set up my sewing nachine to finish two lapghans which only need the binding. Then i can start on a new project.

Mmmm, I wonder is there some way of incorporating some card manipulation into fabric……..
