Scraps Part 2
Well I am having a ball making this quilt top. It will be kingsize when it is eventually finished.
I like using scraps of fabric and randomly putting them together. There is no pattern. I just start with two scraps of fabric and sew them together, then ad on a few more pieces. Without even realising it suddenly grows.
Just looking at what I have done I noticed that there are a few bigger than normal size pieces. Hmm I wonder how that happenend? One thing about this style of quilt top, there is no ripping involved. So this larger than normal section will remain.
I started on a new piece and had only a few pieces sewn together when Matilda made a metalic crunching noise and stopped. She hasn’t moved since. I think it will be a trip to Dr. Michael for investigation.
My bag of scraps has been put back on the shelf until Matilda is fixed.
