Choosing Paint

The plant looked wispy and strong in the garden centre and following the planting instructions the plant had settled into the raised bed. Even after the heavy days of rain it still looked strong and wispy.

It has been attracting the bees, which is another plus, and settled beside dark plum coloured plant with it’s delicious plum colour lasting all year. The small wispy plant looks as if it has been part of the bed for years.

The morning was grey more autumnal than summer. The small, light purple or should that be pink flowers with a yellow centre, gave a delightful lift. Then it hit me that perhaps these were the colours I could use in my craft space which needed a new coat of paint.

I wonder could I paint half of the room pink and the other yellow and even the ceiling. Hmm. Perhaps stripes of yellow and pink with the occasional ivory stripe which would then incorporate the storage units.

I have spent months trying to think of colours for this craft space. None of the colour schemes seemed to sit well for me. Who knew that all I had to do was sit in the garden in the early grey morning with a cup of coffee and get inspiration from a wispy but strong plant.
